How it Works & PricingIn-Studio Riding Posture Analysis Sessions
We start in the studio with a one on one postural analysis and assessment of body movements during certain exercises. We then analyze your riding structure and dilemmas. We can review your riding videos in our studio and analyze how your muscular patterns impact your riding problems and issues. In-Studio Riding Posture Analysis Session - $90 On-site Riding Posture Analysis Session We can also provide mobile services where we come to your riding lesson, observe and video your ride, and meet with your trainer/instructor to get to the root of your riding and positioning issues. On-site Riding Posture Analysis Session - $100.00 (plus travel time). If more than one participant at facility, cost of travel can be shared. One on One Customized Pilates Class Program Based on all of this information, we then customize a program using our Pilates equipment and one on one instruction. This is very important to get quick correct results as the Pilates exercises are very precise in identifying and working particular muscles in certain movements with the breath. It is not the WHAT you do so much as the HOWyou do it. Therefore you do not do endless repetitions of exercises but you do need the right guidance to do each one correctly. In addition you are provided with an exercise plan to do both on and off the horse when not in the studio. $90.00 per private session On-site Small Equipment Classes - (minimum 4 people) Not sure where to start? We can also do demo classes with small light equipment at your facility to acquaint riders with the essence of what Pilates can bring to their riding. $25 per person, minimum of 4 plus travel time which can be shared among participants. |
Testimonials from our ClientsMelinda Folse"Pilates has made a huge difference in how I ride, how I feel, how I move, and in my overall awareness of the biomechanics of riding. The subtle, yet powerful benefit of Pilates for equestrians of all disciplines cannot be underestimated — and Cassandra is an excellent diagnostician and coach who helps each student, regardless of fitness level or riding ability, to find, work and strengthen core muscles they may not even realize they have."
Melinda Folse Author of The Smart Woman's Guide to Midlife Horses www.melindafolse.com Blog Wild Oaks Ranch"I have been working with Cassandra since 2009. We have resolved rotator cuff issues, hip flexor issues, and now my left sided issues. Correcting and learning how to use my body more correctly and efficiently has given me a more effective seat to ride upper level dressage. Being aware of your issues, is key to making changes and improvement. When I am in self-carriage, so is my horse. Thanks, Cassandra!"

Because of the number of hours I am in the saddle, and many different types of horses I ride, I have always struggled with tightness in my hamstrings, hips, and many other places, not to mention imbalances I didn't know I had. The pilates exercises have given me new ways to improve upon my flexibility and movement, while still remaining strong, in the saddle and out. Absolute Equestrian Pilates is wonderful because it combines the benefits of Pilates with the specific needs and requirements of horse riders of any level. I highly recommend pilates exercises to all my students as a tool for increasing strength and improving flexiblity. Even my beginner riding students advance much quicker when using Pilates, due to better balance and body control."
